At the heart of service excellence as a Social Justice Advocate, you will:

  • Undertake high-level advocacy for people with disabilities or mental illnesses.
  • Increase clients’ knowledge and understanding of their rights, obligations, and entitlements.
  • Innovate, adapt, and show compassion in your approach to problem-solving.
  • Inspire our team, support our workplace values, and enhance our workplace culture.
  • Ensure that human rights are protected and promoted.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV, Diploma or Degree in Disability, Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or Community Services (or a similar field).
  • Eligibility to obtain a Positive Notice for Working with Children and a positive notice from Disability Services Queensland.
  • A current, unrestricted class QLD driver’s license.
