Data Governance in the Community Services Sector

QCOSS would like to welcome you to our final Research and Evaluation Network webinar for the year.

This session will explore elements of data governance in the community services sector. We will discuss concepts including the Five Safes Framework and hear from guest speakers from the community services sector on how they navigate issues around client consent, privacy and confidentiality, data sharing agreements and governance of data projects.

Join us for an in-depth discussion with guest speakers:

  • Samantha Cooper (Community Legal Centres Queensland) – Samantha will explore issues, challenges and opportunities for data collection, partnerships and shared outcome measurement, drawing on lessons from their Demand Management data sharing project, in partnership with Queensland Community Legal Centres and Clarity Consortium.
  • Cleo Gardiner & Luke Coffey (Queensland Positive People – QPP)  QPP will highlight their processes regarding auditing of data and secure data management of identifiable, personal and health information. They will discuss how they incorporate consumer voice and clinical oversight through their Community and Clinical Advisory Groups.
