The Client Intake & Administration Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring HUB Community Legal’s intake, triage, and client service processes are welcoming, efficient, and responsive to community needs. Coordinating the team that serves as the first point of contact for clients, this role ensures people seeking help are met with care, respect and clear information.
Working under the general direction of the Director & Principal Lawyer, the coordinator oversees the daily operations of the legal intake and administration team and provides hands-on support with enquiries and referrals. They also supervise staff and volunteers, manage the client database and data quality, and maintain effective communication between the legal and administrative teams. Through this work, the role contributes directly to HUB’s commitment to accessible, trauma-informed, and high-quality legal help for people experiencing disadvantage.
ABOUT YOU
You’re an organised and compassionate person who enjoys helping others and keeping things running smoothly. You thrive in busy environments, can juggle multiple priorities, and stay calm under pressure. You have experience coordinating client intake, triage, or community services, and you’re confident supervising staff or volunteers with a supportive and collaborative approach.
You’re comfortable using databases and digital systems, and you pay attention to detail when managing information. You understand the importance of trauma-informed and client-centred practice, and you communicate with empathy and respect. Most of all, you share HUB’s commitment to access to justice and want to make a positive difference for people experiencing disadvantage.
