At the heart of service excellence as a Senior Social Justice Advocate, you will:

Provide high-level advocacy, social work advice, information, and casework support to program-eligible community members facing complex issues requiring advanced skills beyond those of an Advocate or Social Worker.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take a lead role in shaping and delivering the strategy and content of community education programs.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a Community Engagement Plan for Social Justice Services.
  • Deliver prevention and awareness education to community members and service providers, and promote awareness of the services offered by Tasc.
  • Identify opportunities for Tasc to develop targeted resources for key stakeholder groups.
  • Undertake advanced advocacy on behalf of individuals with disabilities or mental health conditions.
  • Empower clients by increasing their understanding of their rights, responsibilities, and entitlements.
  • Demonstrate innovation, adaptability, and empathy in solving complex problems.
  • Inspire and support colleagues, uphold our values, and contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Advocate for the protection and promotion of human rights in all aspects of your work
