At the heart of service excellence as a Senior Social Justice Advocate, you will:
Provide high-level advocacy, social work advice, information, and casework support to program-eligible community members facing complex issues requiring advanced skills beyond those of an Advocate or Social Worker.
Key Responsibilities
- Take a lead role in shaping and delivering the strategy and content of community education programs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a Community Engagement Plan for Social Justice Services.
- Deliver prevention and awareness education to community members and service providers, and promote awareness of the services offered by Tasc.
- Identify opportunities for Tasc to develop targeted resources for key stakeholder groups.
- Undertake advanced advocacy on behalf of individuals with disabilities or mental health conditions.
- Empower clients by increasing their understanding of their rights, responsibilities, and entitlements.
- Demonstrate innovation, adaptability, and empathy in solving complex problems.
- Inspire and support colleagues, uphold our values, and contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
