Department of Justice and Attorney-General circulated the final Terms of Reference (TORs) for the NLAP Review. While the final TORs are very similar to the draft there have been some reframing of areas including:
- Whether existing arrangements are appropriate to responding to emergencies and new priorities;
- A more extensive requirement to look at complexity, intensity and integration of service delivery, including integration with other social services;
- How data can be better connected with broad outcomes, moving away from the language of outcomes framework.
The timeframe to report to the Commonwealth Attorney-General remains at December 2023.
