Proud Badtjala/Butchulla woman, Shereene Currie, delegate and signatory to the Uluru Statement from the Heart presents what really happened at Uluru-Kata Tjuta & Yulara during those days seated side by side in the red dirt in May 2017.
Shereene gracefully and generously shares her own ‘Statement from the Heart’. Her voice of honour, pride and truth rings strong with a loving commitment to a life of advocating for mob and communities. She tells of the sharing that happened in that time – respectful and honest contributions, thoughtful considerations and forthright questions, ideas and opinions.
